No project is too small for us and we will be delighted to discuss how we can assist. We have a vast range of experience having worked on small-scale domestic projects, alterations and extensions; conservation and refurbishment of historic buildings; and industrial and commercial projects.
We are based in East Lothian but we are happy to travel all over Scotland.
STRUCTURAL DESIGN
We can provide a service tailored to the project needs, including initial advice on feasibility of the proposals, outline and detailed structural design along with the preparation of general and detailed structural drawings.
We have extensive experience designing new-build structures and working with existing and historic buildings, including alterations, repairs and extensions.
SER CERTIFICATIONS
We can certify our structural designs (this process is often referred to as SER Certification) to confirm that the design complies with the Scottish Building Regulations. The submission of a certificate helps to streamline the process of obtaining a Building Warrant.
STRUCTURAL SURVEYS
We carry out structural condition surveys and provide structural reports.
We have extensive experience in surveying existing buildings and identifying likely causes of structural problems. We can also offer advice if remedial works and repairs are required.
